Comprehensive Support Packages

Gold

  • 24-hour availability for students and their families
  • Main point of contact for school administration and teachers, via phone and email
  • Monthly contact with student via zoom or wechat to ensure student success discussing classes and extracurriculars
  • Written report sent to parents detailing current issues, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
  • In-person visit with student (3x/year) to ensure they are acclimating to their environment and thriving emotionally and socially
  • Crisis management and advocacy for students should any problems arise (academically, socially, etc)
  • Translations of formal report cards, important school notices, tuition deadlines, and student updates sent to parents
  • Attendance (in person or virtually) at one orientation or parent-teacher conference
  • Assistance with arrangement of emergency/ short break stays in US
  • Two airport transfers (within 300 miles)
  • Priority sign up for supervised trips over school breaks
  • Guidance sessions 2x/year for college application planning and strategy

Silver

  • Local emergency contact: ISS will pick up student in emergency or if any issue arises at school requiring departure (suspension, COVID-19, school closure, etc)
  • Monthly contact with student via skype or wechat to ensure student success
  • Monthly report sent to parents detailing current issues, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
  • Attendance virtually or via phone at teacher conferences (2x/year) 
  • Assistance with emergency/ short break stays in US
  • Priority sign up for supervised trips over school breaks or early arrival in Summer
  • Guidance session 1x/year for college application planning and strategy

Bronze

  • Student emergency contact: ISS will pick up student in emergency or if any issue arises at school requiring departure (suspension, COVID-19, school closure, etc.)
  •  Priority sign up for supervised trips over school breaks or early arrival in Summer

Other info

* Costs for accommodation such as Airbnb’s or hotels are to be covered by family

* In the event that a student needs to stay under ISS care for extended period of time,  daily fee will be charged which includes meals

* Families must sign a waiver releasing International Student Support from all liability for unexpected/unforeseeable events that may occur off campus or while in ISS care
